Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to prepare anything before my visit?

You will be sent a client intake form that can be filled out in advance to save time.

It is also generally recommended to avoid eating a heavy meal immediately before your appointment.

What should I wear?

We recommend wearing comfortable, loose-fitting clothes.

What can I expect during my appointment?

Your designated therapist will work closely with you to understand your concerns and develop a customized plan to address your needs. Our goal is to identify the root cause of the issue you came in with, then explain and educate you on how to relieve the issues found. If you have any special requests or sensitivities, please notify your therapist before the treatment. Every modality, technique, and area of treatment will be addressed and your consent will be obtained before moving forward with the treatment plan.

Should I do anything after the treatment?

After a treatment you may feel a “little off” or some minor discomfort immediately after your treatment. As the body adapts to the attempted changes we made, it may take 24-48 hours to settle in. Any lingering effects should disappear within a short period. If it lasts longer than that, please do not hesitate to contact your practitioner.

Are your services covered by insurance?

All our services are performed by licensed and registered therapists. At the end of your visit, we will provide a receipt that you can submit to your extended health insurance provider. Coverage will vary depending on your plan.
