Ashley is a recent graduate of the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy with a Masters Diploma in Osteopathic Manipulative Sciences.

A life long learner and lover of health, movement and the human body, Ashley began her career as a personal fitness trainer after completing her Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology and Health Sciences from York University. Shortly after, she spent time as a clinical researcher at The Hospital for Sick Children and Hamilton Health Sciences. It was during this time she discovered the practice of Osteopathy and decided to undertake the program at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy. The pursuit of Osteopathy was a natural progression towards a desire to gain a deeper understanding of the human body and how we create and maintain health. While in school, Ashley facilitated the Cancer Exercise and CancerSmart programs with Wellspring Cancer Support Foundation and YMCA Oakville.

Ashley practices principle-based osteopathy under the core tenets of osteopathy: the body is a unit, structure and function are reciprocally interrelated and the body has the innate ability to self-heal and self-regulate.  Treatment is personalized and aims to reduce the expression of symptoms, speed recovery by restoring motion and improve overall quality of life. Passionate about helping others, Ashley loves to educate her patients and encourage a healthy lifestyle.

“An osteopath is taught that Nature is to be trusted to the end.” -Dr. A.T. Still
